First radio broadcasts after Nana’s return from her Taiwan concert… so unsurprisingly, that is mainly what she speaks about in this week’s World of M (and Smile-Gang, but my post for that will come later ;)). For the same reason, that was why I made sure to tune in. 😉
I’ve been out of the loop for a while, so maybe some of the information she spoke about was revealed in another place/interview somewhere (I really don’t know), but these were certainly news to me.

Personally, I think the things said on this week’s World of M were quite valuable. Especially for those of you who, like me, have been experiencing growing fatigue between keeping up with work life and trying to gain personal time to stay sane all the while wondering whether it’s all worth it.
Before all that though, we’ve got some good laughs (actually, there were good laughs the entire way through). Haha.

Hi everyone. Not a random post this time but something more “regular” in terms of this blog. Haha. What I wanted to have resolved by now before returning isn’t going as planned so… I can’t promise scheduled posts but at the very least, after seeing this earlier today on NicoVideo, I thought to myself “There’s no way I’m missing out on this one.”
This is a late post with late thoughts… But bear with me, RL has been extremely busy lately… ;_;
Anyway, the good news is that NicoFox is now working again. Yay. 🙂
So before I listen to the latest World of M and Smile-Gang (which let me say hasn’t aired yet as of this moment I’m composing this post)… Let me catch up on last week’s.
World of M first, followed by Smile-Gang under the cut. I say Smile-Gang is worth more of a listen due to the Misato Channel. xDD
NicoFox has stopped working for me. 😦 Oh well, hope it’ll work again with the next update or something.
And this is totally random, but I think I am more productive when working with Notepad than MSWord… Weird…
Anyway, this is mainly a Smile-Gang post with a miniature bit on World of M at the end.

Feels like it’s been a long time since I last made a post on World of M. I generally don’t nowadays unless a guest is involved, and even then, it can get selective. But I thought this week’s World of M deserves a post. After all, it’s Watanabe Itaru and Ohira Tsutomu, the guitarist and keyboardist of the Cherry Boys, on M no Sekai.
Even if you don’t particularly care about Nana’s back band for whatever reason (you should, because these guys are quite famous individually), Itaruvich does an guitar acoustic version of Romancer’s Neo here.
I’ve been waiting for this all week…

I was grinning the entire time when listening to this. Why? BECAUSE TAKAYAMA MINAMI IS GUEST THIS WEEK ON WORLD OF M!!! <– When I capslock abuse (which I don't do very often), it shows how excited I truly am. XDD;;
If you’re wondering why I’m so excited, it’s because… well, it’s TAKAYAMA MINAMI.
Ok, so that doesn’t answer any questions (even if I think it should).
Because ran told me (a while back) that, apparently, not everyone knows who Takayama Minami is (which came as somewhat of a shock to me)…
…But unless you’re really young, I would think most J-pop fans have heard of Two-Mix / Mix Delta. Gundam Wing fans, especially, should recognize Two-Mix as the group who did the openings for GW.
Minami-san is the lead vocal in Two-Mix.
For anime fans in general, you would have likely heard her voice on Detective Conan (as Edogawa Conan), Pokemon (as Hiroshi), Shaman King (as Asakura Hao), and many, many other well-known anime. From her more recent roles, she can be heard on Digimon Xros Wars (as Kudou Taiki) and Senki Zesshou Symphogear (as Kanade).
As a Mizuki Nana fan…

How can I not be grinning when I hear them together on World of M this week? And I’m not the only one. If the giggling and laughing from Nana-san is an indication of anything.

It’s Mizuki Ichirou on World of M!!! =D
Is there anyone who does not know this guy?
The guy who a lot of people mistook as Nana’s father early on (particularly during Nana’s debut) due to pronunciation of their (stage) surnames?
The same guy who formed JAM Project (and later reduced his position to part-time in the group)?
The very same guy who is known as the King of the Anisong World?
Anyway, yeah, him. He’s quite a (living) legend.
And he’s absolutely hilarious.
Before I go on, just in case there are people who are not too familiar with Mizuki Ichirou, the ‘Z’ thing that you will hear throughout this week’s M no sekai is a reference to Mazinger Z (anime), as Ichirou is well-known for singing the opening theme to this classic mecha anime.
Now, let the hilarity begin…
水樹奈々のＭの世界 #110 （2011,08,27） ゲスト：中村悠一
Haha, I can’t say I’m too surprised Nakamura was called to be guest. Especially after the episode with Sugita back in May. XD
For those who don’t know Nakamura Yuuichi (中村 悠一 — not to be mistaken with the actor with the same romanization 中村 優一), he is a seiyuu under the same firm as Nana-san, Sigma Seven. For those Mizuki Nana fans who watch every single anime she ever appears in, you will probably recognize Nakamura as Vice (from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS) and Tsukiyomi Ikuto (From Shugo Chara).
From the more recent hit anime, he is also Graham Aker (Gundam 00 — if you could consider that recent XD), Saotome Alto (Macross Frontier), Hodr (Break Blade) and… If you’ve already listened to World of M, Kousaka Kyousuke (Oreimo). The background music when Nakamura was making his “introduction” is the opening for Oreimo and the “character” he is speaking as is Kyousuke. Oreimo is a hilarious and overall very enjoyable anime for those of you who haven’t watched it yet.

Listening to this when everyone else is asleep is rather dangerous. I laughed so hard I was afraid I’d wake my parents in the other room. XDD Especially around the last part of the 7 questions corner.
This week’s guest on World of M is Sawashiro Miyuki, the seiyuu who is 26 years of age yet Nana-san gets onee-san vibes from her. XDD
