Long post title is long. ^^;; Anyway, thanks to ranran for the heads up (because to be honest, I wouldn’t have checked otherwise — and I certainly would not have done this).
So here is the translation of the ACE 2nd A’s Movie stage event as posted on Official Lyrical Nanoha website. Consider it a follow up to the Compilation Report I posted previously.
If you think Nana and Misato are speaking differently than usual at the beginning, you’re right. They’re trying to talk in a “manly way” with male speech. Funny how awkward it comes out sounding as they’ve both voiced male roles before (especially for Misato).
In keeping with this “manliness”, Nana does the “Smile-Gang Fight” title call only be to interrupted by Misato.
Misato: Stop. Stop~ Not only is the BGM wrong, you’ve got the name of the program wrong too.

Misato: Hepolis! Smile-Gang vice-Head Fukuen Misato here… NO THIS IS WRONG. STOP! STOP!
*BGM stops abruptly*
Misato: Can we get an explanation on our current situation?
Nana: What is it?
Misato: Normally, we start off with random talks before moving to the title call. Not only did we start with the title call, the atmosphere was more lively than usual. Starting with Aoiiro… Also, what was up with Hepolis?
Because I sort of promised I’d do this… ^^;;
Let me say emphasize one thing. This is what I label to be a COMPILATION report. Meaning this is something I put together by reading blogs of those who attended the Nanoha stage at Anime Contents Expo (with my thoughts and weird imagination added in). I was not there personally as Japan is too far away.

As with the past 4 nights, there is great music throughout and well worth sitting through the whole thing. I sort of want to leave it at that, but since this is the last episode of this 5-part special, I’ll randomly write down some of my thoughts with regards to JUPITER.
Despite it not being the first time these two did a duet, the JUPITER collaboration between Hirahara Ayako and Mizuki Nana remained to be one of the most looked forward-to performance for me. It didn’t disappoint. It was a great performance (they both did an awesome job), though I still get the feeling that some parts of the lyrics were a little forced. Or maybe I’m just too used to an instrumental/orchestral version of it.
I must say though, I think the performance would’ve much more powerful had they added a trumpet part. I can’t help but always feel that the trumpet captures the “Jupiter” theme the best.

Getting a little side-tracked here, so before I stray into La Corda d’oro anywhere else, let me say that despite how “grand” the final song was (with everyone on the stage and having their individual voices heard even when not all of them got a solo part), the lyrics made me want to cry a bit. And it’s times like these that I think “Music really does have strange powers.”
Anyway, Music Fair 2400th Anniversary has come to a close, but they will still be airing Music Fair 2400th Anniversary SPECIAL next week. It’ll be a compilation of fan-favourite performances over the last 5 weeks along with some footages that hasn’t been shown yet. Might still be worth looking into. 😛
