How predictable. I’m sick. -.-
And unsurprisingly, Smile-Gang still managed to make me laugh. :3 It starts off with Misato and Nana imagining themselves in the year 2060. In other words, we hear 78 year old Misato and 80 year old Nana. XDD
I think if you tried to imagine them being that old, you can see it in your mind. Misato said she could. 😄
Then, the other hilarious corner — the DJ school corner — where they’re messing around with the background music was funny. Whenever they say their names, their respective BGMs play in the background (that has nothing to do with them personally, really XD).
And we end off with random Smapedia info — Nana-san’s 77th birthday single (if there is to be one) will be named: Shuuku! <–Random name because Nana-san came up with it on the spot. 😄
I’m sure we’ve all heard the song already, but in case anyone hasn’t seen the PV yet…
Seeing all of them put their efforts together to create something special, while enjoying it in the process (<–this is key), is what makes me respect and admire them so much. :3
I’m behind on my radio listening for this week, but I’m trying to catch up before uni starts up next week.
For this week, rather than the broadcast itself (which was hilarious as always), I’m more amused by the fact that… Someone actually updated the japanese Smile-Gang wikipedia page with Smapedia information!
Smapedia (Smile Gang Encyclopedia) is a mini-corner that has been around since broadcast #419, taking place right before the ending. It reveals random tidbits about Smile-Gang and its staff, such as where Mizuki Nana and Fukuen Misato first met (and how that exact store is no longer around) and that Misato gets car sick easily.
However, last week (broadcast #439), it was decided that Smapedia was to end because… Misato and the staff complained how no one was updating the Smapedia facts onto Wikipedia. ^^;;
And look what we have now!
Yes, there is a スマペディア (Smapedia) section on the Smile-Gang wikipedia page now. Because of that, according to this week’s broadcast (#440), Smapedia will continue. XDD
^I bet that was precisely what the Smile-Gang staff was aiming for when they threatened to end the Smapedia corner. 😄
In other important news, tickets to the Mizuki Nana – Full Orchestra Live for the general public will be available beginning November 13th… In case anyone wanted to know. ^^
Hi everyone. Still alive. Haven’t gone and jumped off a bridge yet. 😛
It’s been a while since my last Mizuki Nana-post, and quite honestly, I have nothing to update. But because I don’t want this post to be so empty, here is the list of Mizuki Nana-related releases in the upcoming months. From now until December, there’s at least one big thing a month.
September 29th – 男と女3 -TWO HEARTS TWO VOICES- album. Cover for one of the tracks, 笑顔の行方 (originally sung by DREAMS COME TRUE), will be a duet between Mizuki Nana and Inagaki Junichi.
October 27th – NANA CLIPS 5 – Featuring music clips beginning with Trickster to Mysterion. Also includes the Complete Version of Shinjuku Koma Gekijou – 水樹奈々大いに唄う.
November 26th – Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st BD&DVD release!
(I might as well mention that Lyrical Party IV is set to take place on November 23rd… Which means no footages from Lyrical Party IV will be included with the MOVIE 1st BD/DVD… Should I be upset?)
December – Ok, so nothing has been announced yet for December, but I’m sure we can expect that a certain set of BD/DVD will be released around that time… If the last few years is anything to go by. :3
Of course, there is still the release date of the book that has yet to be announced. And let’s not forget about the magazines that will contain interviews/photos of Nana-san, or the Orchestral Live (for those planning to attend). With such frequent releases, they’re expecting to squeeze every last yen from the
rabid, er, very loyal fans.
As for me, I’ll be forfeiting some of the purchases. XP
