Because I sort of promised I’d do this… ^^;;

Let me say emphasize one thing. This is what I label to be a COMPILATION report. Meaning this is something I put together by reading blogs of those who attended the Nanoha stage at Anime Contents Expo (with my thoughts and weird imagination added in). I was not there personally as Japan is too far away.
Please see source blogs at the end of this post.
Anyway… onto the stage event.
If anyone ever wants to hear Misato getting bullied (which we rarely get to hear on Smile-Gang), checking in with Blood-R is the way to go. Though I do feel bad for her by the end of #4. ^^;;
As the link title describes, Blood-R is the webradio for the anime Blood-C. It generally reveals information about the plot, characters, and other random questions that listeners sent in. Fukuen Misato and Suzuki Tatsuhisa are the main personality for Blood-R.
Blood-R #4 in particular, invites Mizuki Nana as guest (as she does play the main character role on Blood-C). What do you get when you have a fearful Misato, an amused Nana, and the ever-so-sarcastic-and-exaggerated Tatsuhisa together? The result is Blood-R #4. It’s 40 minutes long, but well worth the listen. Especially the singing (or rather, in Misato’s case, rap) corner. XD
This is a rather long post so get set! It is a 40 minute radio show after all. 😛 Again, it’s well worth checking out. =D
水樹奈々のＭの世界 #052 （2010,06,26）
Nana-san recommended Faye Wong’s Eyes on Me (great live version here) this week when a 15 year old sent in a letter asking her to recommend a song for sleepless nights. After the song, she explained that the 15 year old probably wouldn’t recognize this song because he would still be in kindergarten when it was first released. Nana-san said that she, herself, wasn’t even in her 20s yet when she fell in love with the song (doesn’t take a genius to figure out that she was 19 at the time then XD)…
…Okay… Wow… the song that old? I was in love with the song too… Because it was the theme song of FFVIII (and my mom is a fan of Faye Wong — which meant the song was played quite often in the car).
…I feel old now… OTL Nonetheless, the song did make me feel nostalgic (and calmer).
Continuing with the blast from the past… Anyone else other me a fan of Doraemon? At the very least, you all should have heard of the cute and awesome robotic cat from the 22nd century. Nana-san lists her top 7 favourite/most wanted tools that appeared in the manga/anime series.
Doraemon secret tool TOP 7 in the opinion of Mizuki Nana
How is it that I never know about Shugo Chara Character Song Collection releases until very close to its release date? It was like that for Character Song Collection 2 and it was the same this time as well (Shugo Chara Character Song Collection 3). I wouldn’t have known at all if I wasn’t listening to a-fanfan11 水樹奈々のPOWER GATE第95回(10年2月) yesterday.
Before you click on the following YouTube video, a word of warning. It’s not your usual song sung by Hoshina Utau (Mizuki Nana). It’s very different. If you’re wondering why, go watch Shugo Chara Party! 19.
(Yes, I only watch episodes where Utau makes an appearance — Don’t know what I’d do if fans didn’t do episode-by-episode summaries on Wikipedia XD).
My impression of Akane iro no Sora by Hoshina Utau
You know how the more you should be doing something, the more you end up doing something else? I should be working like mad on my report, but I’m here doing this instead. XD
^Links to the staff blog of the Professor Layton movie website.
Remember how Nana-san plays the role of an opera singer in the upcoming Professor Layton: The Eternal Diva movie? And that there was a trailer where you hear Nana-san singing a lyrics-less version of the opera song?
Well… NEW TRAILERS ARE UP!
Click on either 予告編2 or #05.
The sound is clearer in #05, but you should be able to hear the singing in both.
Yes, Nana-san is awesome. XD
Following up with the previous Shugo Chara post, it would seem that the full version of 太陽が似合うよ (TAIYOU GA NIAU YO) is to be released on August 5th… [Source here]
O.o Isn’t that… just a little over a week from now? I’m surprised they’re promoting this song only 2 weeks before the actual release date. Heartful Song was an excruciatingly long wait. But of course, I’m not complaining. The TV version of 太陽が似合うよ have been looping in my mind ever since I watched the episode so full version can’t come any sooner. XDDD
And I think I should also take the time to point out that 太陽が似合うよ does NOT translate to Glorious Sunshine. 太陽が似合うよ roughly translates to “Like the sun” or in a less literal sense but closer to the actual meaning, “As bright as the sun.” Glorious Sunshine is merely Utau’s concert title / theme. However, it does also come up in the lyrics of 太陽が似合うよ.
^There are several of these videos uploaded on YouTube already. But because the full version has yet to be released, everyone has been using the version from episode 93 (which means you will hear talking…). Still, it’s better than nothing. 😀
It has been a LONG while since I’ve watched the same episode FOUR times within 12 hours. And for THIS series no less.
But allow me to dork over this episode because:
1) It’s about Hoshina Utau
2) NEW SONG!!! (Another awesome Mizuki Nana song!!! YAY!!!)
3) Utau is cuter than before, if that’s possible. :O
4) KUUKAI!!! 😀
5) KuukaixUtau!!! XDDD
Hoshina Utau! Fly Towards the Future! (Image-heavy + Spoilers + Utau&Mizuki Nana comparisons)
This one completely slipped under my radar…
SHUGO CHARA CHARACTER SONG ALBUM BEST
Release Date: March 18th, 2009
…Now, normally, I’m not that big of a Shugo Chara fan. In fact, I don’t consider myself a fan since I haven’t watched a single episode that doesn’t have Utau in it. XDDD But I’m looking forward to the release of this CD purely because… HEARTFUL SONG and YUME NO TSUBOMI are on this CD!!! FINALLY! Full versions of these two awesome songs!!! More Mizuki Nana! XDDDD
This week’s Smile-Gang (episode 361) was amusing if just for Nana-san revealing her experiences of taking Kei-tan out for a walk. Because of the routes she takes, she often runs into four people who, for some reason, can never remember her or Kei-tan. So she ends up holding the same conversations with these people over and over again. She has ran into an (old) lady 8 times on eight different days and the way the conversation starts, progresses, and ends is ALWAYS the same. Nana-san stresses that she has had the SAME conversation eight times! XD Misato points out that it’s like a RPG where, no matter how many times you talk to the characters standing around in the game, they say the same thing without fail. XDDDDD That is so true, even Nana-san agreed to that. XDDDDD That must truly be one interesting experience, even if Nana-san sounded like she was beginning to become frustrated with these people. XDDD
