Before proceeding to this week’s summary, I’ll put this up top.
27th Single Confirmed!
Release Date: June 6, 2012
^Early June. As expected. 😛
Now to Smile-Gang #520.
Nana’s opening advice to all those who are moving away from home to further their studies: It’s all right to bring/send back useless things. XD The general tendency when leaving home is to bring along a bunch of stuff that may or may not be of use. That doesn’t seem to be a problem until you enter the room you’re supposed to be staying at — and realize there’s no place to put most of them.
The conversation abruptly changes to the reminder that… There’s only 2 more weeks/chances for Nana to gain at least 6400yen from the scratch cards. Misato says it’ll be impossible.
Nana: Misato, if I’m allowed to say one thing.
Nana: “The moment you give up is the moment the match ends.” (あきらめたらそこで試合終了ですよ)*
*Nana is quoting from one of the most memorable lines from Slam Dunk. Misato followed up with “Anzai-sensei!” because it was Coach Anzai who said that in the manga/anime. This is a sort of follow up from last week’s Slam Dunk talk. XDD;;
After the title call, Misato asks if Nana ever won a grand prize from anything. The answer is a quick “no.” Lol. Misato prays for Nana’s sake that she’ll win something tonight as there is talk that they will make her step down as “Head” if she doesn’t win any more from the scratch cards. XDD
Moving to the Head Nanau corner… She talks about NORITAKE GUIDE 5.0 — a live that was held on Kinashi Noritake’s birthday. The back band was entirely made up of members of Cherry Boys. She said it was hilarious during the member introduction section, because as they went around introducing everyone, the line always ended with “He’s a member of ____’s band, but he’s also part of Mizuki’s band” or “He works for artist ____, but he’s part of Nana-chan’s band as well.” By the end of it, “Well, this is really a Mizuki Nana band… But for today, they’re Noritake Band.” XD
Apparently, it wasn’t simply a music live. Along the way, they had something like a magic show. She mentioned this on her March 9th blog post as well, but Tom-kun (the keyboard player from Cherry Boys) went into a box which was subsequently cut/stabbed by a giant knife. The next moment, the audience sees Tom-kun flying down from the air and gently landing in front of the piano. Nana says Tom-kun was really cute when he flew down. He was like an angel. XDD
Following the usual flow, the Quiz Corner comes up.
Seriously random questions so I’m going to skip over.
Except there was one question that I’m surprised Nana couldn’t answer. It should’ve been an easy question because even I could remember it! “What was the name of the sake you drank that was 96% alcohol.” Spyritus! But I guess Nana was too drunk by then to remember anything at the time. XDD;;
Anyway, the result was that she got 3 questions correct. Will she win anything from just 3…? We will find out near the end.
After SONG COMMUNICATION and the CMs (random: Anybody else getting K-POP vibes from Miyano Mamoru’s upcoming album?), Nana makes her 27th single announcement. She trips over her words that made the whole thing anti-climatic. What’s even more funny is that she continues to trip over her words as she makes her Live Castle x Journey BD/DVD announcement. XD Misato asks what’s wrong with her. XDD
Now scratch card time!!
Hold your breaths everyone! Nana only has one week to win something after this if those scratch cards aren’t winning cards!
Misato: What? Seriously?
Nana: …All off the mark…
Misato: This is bad.
Nana: Very bad. There’s…only one week left…?
Misato: One week left.
Misato: It’s bad.
Nana: Yeah, very bad.
Lol. I have nothing left to say… XD;;
