お誕生日おめでとう![Mizuki Nana]

A Happy Birthday to
Mizuki Nana~~~!!! (≧ω≦)/

Yes, I realize the time difference, but it’s still the 21st where I am! XD

I have plans to watch Live Games x Academy -BLUE- today. :3
If time permits…

And of course, the autobiography Shin Ai is released today! The rate it went out-of-stock was stunning. Even pre-orders went out-of-stock on CDJapan, I think. XDD
Now I shall patiently wait for my copy… which isn’t going to be shipped out until next week. But that’s fine since I am behind in my textbook and case readings. XP

Anyway, the point of this post is… Happy 31st Birthday, Nana-san! =D
Even though you will never read this but that’s okay! XD

EDIT: More for my own reference later, but wow, Misato cried while reading Shin Ai in a cafe. And apparently she got a copy (likely from Nana-san herself) several days before the release date. XD

EDIT2: What in the…? So it’s not “Pre-orders out of stock” anymore on CDJapan, it’s now OUT OF PRINT… (Already!?) ^^;;

  1. Happy Birthday, Nana chan!!!
Initially I want to order at CDJapan. But do you know where it is possible to order? Or shall I wait for a restock?

    • Considering CDJapan has now listed it as Out of Print, it likely means they have no plans to restock it, at least not anytime soon…
You can check out YesAsia or HMV.
Neither of these sites currently have it in in-stock, but you can still order from them and probably wait a few extra days than normal before they ship it to you (at least, that’s the approximate time for YesAsia… I’ve personally never ordered from HMV, but I suspect it works the same way).

      • Maybe you will have to wait for the reprint edition. I am in Japan now and Shin Ai was sold out from all book stores I went in Tokyo since 22 Jan. Not sure about stores in other cities though. However, seeing it was sold like crazy I think it will be likely to be reprinted soon.

  2. Happy Birthday Nana-san! xD Today, someone turns 13. (Because Yukarin who is 17 is 4 years older than her. LOL). xD
Even though it’s already the 22nd here. XD Well that’s okay Kasumi-san *pats. xD Nana-san have been posting blog posts delayed, lately. Due to Live Grace rehearsals maybe. xD And she posted her birthday post on the 22nd too. So it counts! =3

    • Hahahaha! Hey, that works! Just flip the numbers. 13, 31. XD
I-It’s still the 21st where I am though! XDD
As the commenter above said, Nana-san always posts a few hours after 12AM (of the next day) in Japan regardless of rehearsals or not. :3 At least, that’s how it used to be… Unless she corrected her “jetlag” (haha!) over the past few months. XD

    • I did saw her last post with a copy of Shin’ai in her hands. The post was quite long. As usual Google translate has failed me miserably.

      • Google translate yields some interesting results if you threw in the entire post. XDD
I’m not going to translate, but the post was more about the safe delivery of Shin Ai, the gratitude she feels towards everyone who has supported her since birth (and how she has tried to include these feelings of thanks in Shin Ai), and how she hopes to continue to reach out to everyone through her melody and words. She wants to continue to enjoy her time and realize her dreams with everyone.
        :3

  3. Ya know what, I had to order my copy from Amazon, who gave a higher price for shipping and handling than the actual object SDFGHJHGFRTRGVGH!!! My internet just had to die before CD Japan went out of stock orz
That + Black and White preordering kills my wallet you’re buying ’em too rite? xD
Anyway, happy B’day for the lovely Lady and I shall now sulk for all the lucky bastards who get to watch Live Grace Dx

    • I think shipping and handling (+ potential taxes) ends up being more expensive at any online store (including CDJapan). ><
You’re getting Black and White? :O
Most likely yes, but not pre-ordering them. I’ll just wait a week or a month after it’s release so that they’re in-stock in stores.
We’ll just wait for the DVD/Blu-ray that won’t be coming until possibly a year later or at least half a year later.

      • The woes of online buyers >>. If only we have HMV or Kinokuniya bookstores nearby.
Ah, yeah. Black’s for my sister. I’m getting the White one…I think. that’s the one that got the black legendary rite? Ah I see.I want those little figurines you got for pre-orders 8D
Prolly half a year from now… Wow isn’t that depressing orz

  4. Happy belated Birthday, Nana-sama. I bought Shin Ai and many Nana-related item to celebrate her birthday. I am happy I was able to sing HBD song to her and saw her blew off the candles on birthday cake in Live Grace XD

    • Btw, Shin Ai was sold like crazy. The special ed. versions were sold out before I was able to enter live goods booth and normal ed. were sould out from all book stores around Yokohama arena. Power of nana’s fans is so overwhelming. I started queing for live goods around 6.45 a.m. The booth opened at 9.00 a.m. but I was able to buy goods around 4.30 p.m. It was totally 9 hours waiting – -“
