あけましておめでとう!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! =D

I counted down the last 7 seconds with my mom who is probably the only one aside from myself who is still awake. (Yes, 7, haha what a coincidence).

Current playing POWER GATE in background. It’s a good song to welcome the New Year with considering the amount of positive energy flowing from this song.
It can replace Auld Lang Syne as the “New Years song.” It’s the era of Mizuki Nana after all! XDDDD

A new year. A new start.

I’m determined to make 2009 a good year!

And I will start off by being an optimist. =3

力を合わせれば もっと 楽しく走れる
色んな迷いも飛ばされて
思い切り POWER GATE 開けて行けるよね
一人じゃないから弱気な僕も

Let’s put our efforts together and further enjoy the dash forwards
Blow away all of our hesitations
Hold nothing back, open up the POWER GATE and go
My weak self is no longer alone

~POWER GATE, Mizuki Nana

  1. WAIT, whut!? Era of Mizuki Nana? LOL. xD
    Epic quote.
    Happy New Year!!! 😀
(LOL I didn’t want to reply you earlier cause it wasn’t your newyear yet, and it’d be unfair xD See, thoughful :P)

    • *nods* Yup, you read right. The era of Mizuki Nana. XDD
What better way to start off the new year with an epic quote? 😄
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too! =3
(:O You could’ve replied with something else then? XDD)

  2. :O SEE, YOU TRANSLATED!
And, Happy New Year! I would’ve have gotten online and posted a comment at 12 if not for work. >.>
I’m glad I’ve met you. Really glad. 😀
*spreads optimism and happiness around while blasting Mizuki Nana songs.* :3

    • 😄 I was actually thinking of you when I translated that (even though it’s only 4 lines). Waitaminute… How did you know I translated and not just copy&pasted some other translation? :O
XDD That’s okay, you wished me a Happy New Year beforehand. =D
And I think you know this already, but I feel the need to say it anyway… I’m really glad I met you too. Honestly. Thank you for constantly being there for me and, uh, for all those times when I stare off into space and start grinning to myself. XDD Even though people may think I’m crazy for doing that, you made me happy too. =D
      Just so I don’t start rambling… Thank you, V. =3
*is currently blasting Mizuki Nana songs* =D

      • 😀 You do have translation skills (even though it’s only 4 lines). XDDD Because there are no translations for POWER GATE at all. :3
But it doesn’t really feel right to say it so late. :/
        Heh, it’s a never-ending cycle. XDDD
XDD You didn’t, and thanks. Though now I wonder I should get another nickname, because just V alone seems a little weird. XDDDD
        *sits back* :3

        • I have very rusty translation skills. =P There isn’t? :O But it’s one of her more popular songs!
          Late? You meant early, right?
Would you have it any other way? XDDD
          Hm… Vee? Vie? Gatou?
But I like the sound of V better…

          • But that still means you have translation skills, and what better way to make them un-rusty than to translate Mizuki Nana’s songs? XDDD
I meant late. It feels weird when New Year is already here and I wish you happy new year like 10hours later. >.>
            Perhaps. 😛
            :O YOU’RE A STALKER TOO!
And apparently you still visit AS FFT despite saying you quit it. 8|

            • But it’s very difficult to translate entire Mizuki Nana songs. 😄
And I was saying you said Happy New Years about 12 hours earlier… When I said Happy New Years to you. 😄
              :O
              First, I never said I wasn’t. 😄
But I honestly do not understand this part. I really haven’t been to the AS FFT for a long time… Several months, actually. So… What are you talking about? =S

              • It’ll be fun, and you’d be training your Japanese too. 😀
Oh, that. 😄 But it doesn’t count when it’s on my journal. XDDDD
                😛
                But you’re not. XDDD
Why did you say Vee and Vie? :O

              • It still doesn’t change the fact that it’ll be difficult. >.<
                Yes, it counts. 😄
How do you know that? 😄
Because it forms the sound “V.”
…Wait, so you’re saying Vee/Vie is your AS username?
                I always thought it was…something else… >.>;;

              • It’s a challenge! So you have to “Hold nothing back, open up the POWER GATE and go!” XDDDDD
                No, it doesn’t. 😛
Because you’re not stalker-y at all.
But…Vie is supposed to be pronounced Vy. >.<
… I somehow keep slipping up around you. >.>
                Well, you know now. 😛

              • …When you said “challenge” I automatically thought of Live Fighter Blue Side because it is Challenger-themed. 😄
…The Power Gate is, um, rather heavy to open up… XDDDD
I say it counts, so it counts. XDD
                You’d be surprised then. 😄
Vie is pronounced V… At least, that’s how it is in French, and I’ve never thought to pronounce it any other way.
…It’s one of my many stalker-skills in effect. 😄
                I honestly thought it was Gatou-related… Because I remember seeing that name when I was still there. ^^;; …But I guess that means I was imagining things then… XDD;;

              • XDD Has it been shipped to you yet?
D: It’s called the POWER GATE because you can easily get the POWER to open the GATE. XDDDD
                Fine, it counts. 😛
It’s another one of those stalker skills, isn’t it? XDDD
Oh. Goody. Then I don’t have to be worried about pronouncing Vie as V since I’ll have an excuse now. XDD
…Or maybe I’m just more open around you? XDDD
                *keeps mum* XDDD

              • It’s been shipped, but it hasn’t arrived yet. D:
Well, apparently, that means I’m lacking the power. XDDD
                =D
I have many, many stalker skills. Which one are you referring to? XDDD
Vie also means “Life” in French… If you didn’t know. =3
…That’s possible. 😄 My skills have made you more open around me. XDDDD
                Is that supposed to be *keeps mumbling*? Otherwise, I don’t understand it. ^^;;

              • It’ll arrive not soon enough. XDDD
D: No, you’re not. So start translating. >.<
                😛
                The mysteriousness. XDDD
I didn’t know. :O That’s… fitting. Very much so. XDDD
…Well, it was definitely not your skills. XDD
It’s supposed to be ‘mum’. Basically *keeps quiet*.

              • It better arrive before the 12th. >.<
Translating what? There’s too many! XDD Therefore, it requires a lot of POWER to translate them and I don’t have enough of it. =D
*nods* It’s one way to be professional. You should know that! XDD
                =3
…Then what is it if it’s not my skills? XDDD
Ohh… Wait, keep quiet about what? *starting evaluating the possibilities* XDDD

              • You can always sue if it doesn’t. XDD It won’t come because I called play-asia. *smirk*
Ummm… first on my list, Bring It On? 😛 You can always do them one at a time. D:
I’m way too amused by this conversation between stalkers. XDDDD And yes, professional-ism is the only way to go. 😛
                …I’m not sure?
Everything. 😛 *wipes the slate clean* XDDDD

              • But I’m too lazy to do that. XDD It has already been shipped. Which means it is out of Play-Asia’s hands. 😄
…Bring It On is… possibly more difficult than POWER GATE because Nana-san wrote the lyrics herself and it is hard to capture the epicness of those lyrics. XDDD
Believe me, I’m very amused too. XDDD You can’t be a proper stalker if you lack professionalism. XDDD
                …Hm…
You make it sound even more suspicious… Did you used to go by something-Gatou (Gatou-something) and then changed it to Vee/Vie?

              • Laziness is D: Sue whoever’s delivering. XDDD
Epicness should be spread around in all languages. XDDDD
XDDD Professionalism is the only thing that sets stalkers apart from stalkees. XDDDDDD
                I won’t tell you. XDD

              • Because of the perpetual state of D: Doesn’t suing require money? :O
While I can’t argue with you there… I do not want to scar the epicness. XDDDD
The only thing? What about all those other stalker skills? XDDDD
                *pouts* XDD

              • Perpetual D:-ness prevents you from starting to translate? But Mizuki Nana’s songs should be able to break through the D:-ness since they are all awesome/epic/happy-ish. XDDD You can always study law instead of accounting. XDDD
You won’t be able to scar the epicness when you love it so much. 😀 😀
Professionalism = Stalker. Stalker Skills only come after you’ve become a proper Stalker. XDDDD
                *pets*
(I had this image of an extremely cute icewolf pup pouting with puppydog!eyes. XDDDDDDD)
