Just so no one else thinks I’m currently lying on a hospital bed… Here is my weekly Mizuki Nana post. XD (Supposed to be posted yesterday but my internet connection refused to cooperate with me. D:
To the point where I badly wanted to throw my router out the window. XD)
But before I start talking about the weekly radio broadcasts… I KNOW WHAT I WANT FOR MY CHRISTMAS/BIRTHDAY present this/next year!!! =D
LIVE FIGHTER RED SIDE & BLUE SIDE DVD (& BLU-RAY) TO RELEASE ON DECEMBER 25, 2008!!!
^For once, I have an answer to all those who ask me what I want as my Xmas/B-day present (especially my aunt who always asks me but I never have an answer ready). =3
Some very shocking news revealed in this week’s episode of Smile-Gang. Remember how Mizuki Nana once said she was very bad with technology? Well, Misato asked Nana-san if there has been improvements (such as did her typing speed increase) and while the answer was positive, Nana-san said “But I still do not work with the other functions (software).” Then Misato asked, “But you use Word, right?”
The answer that came made me go O.o and then I promptly bursted out laughing.
Mizuki: Word? What’s that?
Misato: *shocked gasp*
Misato then proceeded to ask about Excel and Powerpoint… Which, of course, Mizuki Nana hasn’t even heard of. XDD (Chances are, if you’ve never used Word, you wouldn’t have touched Excel or Powerpoint. XD)
Also, this episode was recorded right before “the big event” (Koma Gekijou), so it’s obvious both Misato and Nana-san were trying their best to conserve/talk in a way that would not damage their voices. But then, they squealed (in disgust XD) at one point (mostly because they couldn’t help it) and Nana-san’s reaction was so cute and hilarious at the same time. XDD They were reading a mail where someone apparently, unknowingly, drank a cup of coffee that was littered with drowned ants. >.< I get goosebumps just thinking about it, so the two of them having such an "overt" reaction was understandable. XDD
And of course… MIZUKI NANA LIVE FEVER 2009!!! Congratulations to Nana-san for securing another Live Tour both before and after her birthday! =D
GOLD RUSH ★水樹奈々のＭの世界★ #03 （2008,10,15）”
^Was supposed to listen to this YESTERDAY but STUPID INTERNET wasn’t working. ;_;
Anyway, painful loading time because my internet connection was still very unstable this morning. What stood out in this program was Nana-san “barking” in the “arf~” way. XDDD THAT WAS SO CUTE!
Apparently, Mizuki Nana is easily influenced. XD In the Mpod Shuffle! corner, Nana-san played Camera!Camera!Camera! by Flipper Guitar. That was one of the bands that really got her into J-pop and because Flipper Guitar said in an interview that he was inspired by English children’s books, Nana-san visited the bookstore and started going through children’s books in english (though she couldn’t read it very well XD).
Otherwise… Nothing particularly striking happened in GOLD RUSH with Mizuki Nana. (Unless you count her mentioning Shinsuke ONCE AGAIN (her first crush in first grade XD) but that was because someone wrote a mail asking her about it. XDD)
Finally, there is this video (which has been on the net since the 10th).
This is the infamous video where Nana-san was so nervous that the staff said “They’ve never seen Nana so nervous before. Not even right before a live performance.” She wrote about it on her blog and talked about it in episode 340 of Smile-Gang. She admits to being extremely nervous. She kept drinking water but no matter how much she drank, her throat still felt dry. In her mind, all she could think of was “What do I do? This is bad. This is bad!”
And what do I find significant about this? Well, for one, I experienced the exact same thing yesterday (October 15) as I went to my first official job interview. I was literally shaking due to anxiety AND my throat felt dry despite downing cups after cups of water. XD The only thought that remotely calmed me was “So this was how Nana-san felt right before and during her Music Fighter recording. XDD
Second, her admitting the extent of her nervousness makes her much “closer” than the rest of the singers/actors. As in, I find it much easier to relate to her and find her much more ‘human’ than other singers and actors. =3
Finally, uh, after looping the Trickster single for I-don’t-know-how-long, I’ve thought things through (I think the lyrics to Trickster hit a cord somewhere within me XD), and I can say I’m out of this slump/over-stressed state. =D
“Everyone runs into a wall at some point in life.
Even if it makes you feel like you don’t know what to do anymore.
In the end, we still have to face foward and walk on!”
